亨，小利贞。
遁象征战略退隐。通达。小事上守正有利。当阴长阳消、小人渐得势、环境不利时，及时抽身是智者之选。
初六 遁尾，厉，勿用有攸往。
六二 执之用黄牛之革，莫之胜说。
九三 系遁，有疾厉，畜臣妾吉。
九四 好遁，君子吉，小人否。
九五 嘉遁，贞吉。
上九 肥遁，无不利。

Withdrawing now brings success; even in small, quiet matters, staying steady pays off.
Initial Six: Bringing up the rear of a retreat is precarious — this is no time to start anything new.
Six in the second: Bound tight with a strip of yellow ox-hide — nothing can pry that grip loose.
Nine in the third: Being unable to fully withdraw is stressful and risky; keeping only close household staff attached still works out well.
Nine in the fourth: Choosing to step back willingly rewards someone of good character, while someone small-minded only comes undone by it.
Nine in the fifth: A gracious, well-timed retreat — staying true to it brings good fortune.
Nine at the top: An unburdened, contented exit — nothing about it works against you.
