大畜·蓄养·护城河
利贞，不家食，吉，利涉大川。
大畜象征盛大蓄养。利于守正。不在家吃闲饭（指出仕济世、任用贤能）则吉，利于涉险担当重任。
初九 有厉，利已。
九二 舆说輹。
九三 良马逐，利艰贞。曰闲舆卫，利有攸往。
六四 童牛之牿，元吉。
六五 豮豕之牙，吉。
上九 何天之衢，亨。
利贞，不家食，吉，利涉大川。
Holding firm pays off here. Rather than living off one's own stores, seeking nourishment from a wider table brings good fortune, and favors crossing the great river.
Initial Nine: Danger is close by -- the wise move now is to hold back.
Nine in the second: The cart is deliberately disabled -- its axle-pins pulled so it cannot roll.
Nine in the third: Like a fine horse giving chase -- staying alert to danger while holding firm pays off. Drill daily in both driving and defense, and you'll be ready to move when the moment comes.
Six in the fourth: A young bull fitted with a restraining board before its horns can do harm -- great good fortune in acting this early.
Six in the fifth: A boar gelded so its tusks lose their danger -- good fortune found in removing the root cause rather than fighting the symptom.
Nine at the top: The open road of heaven itself lies ahead -- every path now leads somewhere.
