元吉，亨。
鼎象征铸鼎立业、革新后新秩序的确立。大吉大利、极其通达。鼎为国之重器，代表政权、高端架构与人才的归位。
初六 鼎颠趾，利出否，得妾以其子，无咎。
九二 鼎有实，我仇有疾，不我能即，吉。
九三 鼎耳革，其行塞，雉膏不食，方雨亏悔，终吉。
九四 鼎折足，覆公餗，其形渥，凶。
六五 鼎黄耳金铉，利贞。
上九 鼎玉铉，大吉，无不利。

Initial Six: Tipping the cauldron over on its legs turns out to help -- it clears out what had gone stale inside. Taking on a secondary partner for the sake of an heir draws no fault here.
Nine in the second: The cauldron is full and solid. Rivals may resent that, but they can't actually get close enough to touch it. Good fortune.
Nine in the third: The cauldron's handle has come loose, blocking its own function -- even the choice pheasant fat inside goes uneaten. Once the tension finally breaks like rain, the regret clears, and good fortune follows.
Nine in the fourth: A leg of the cauldron snaps, spilling the ruler's own meal and leaving them visibly disgraced. Misfortune.
Six in the fifth: The cauldron carries yellow handles and rings of gold -- holding to this standard steadily is what pays off.
