同人于野，亨。利涉大川，利君子贞。
同人象征广聚同盟。在广阔旷野上集结志同道合者，通达。利于涉险攻坚（利涉大川），利于君子守正。
初九 同人于门，无咎。
六二 同人于宗，吝。
九三 伏戎于莽，升其高陵，三岁不兴。
九四 乘其墉，弗克攻，吉。
九五 同人，先号咷而后笑，大师克相遇。
上九 同人于郊，无悔。

同人于野，亨。利涉大川，利君子贞。
Joining together with others out in the open country brings real progress. This favors crossing the great river, and rewards a person of principle who stays true to course.
Initial Nine: Standing together with others right at the entrance, in full view — nothing to fault in that.
Six in the second: Standing together only with one's own bloodline — this narrowness brings regret.
Nine in the third: Weapons hidden away in the tall grass, watching from the ridge above — three full years pass and still no move is made.
Nine in the fourth: Scaling the defensive wall, then finding no way to press the attack through. Good fortune.
Nine in the fifth: Those bound together are torn apart by tears and grief at first, only to break into laughter later — after the hardest struggle, they finally find their way back to one another.
Nine at the top: Standing together with others out on open pastureland, far from any center of power — no regret in it.
