元，亨，利牝马之贞。君子有攸往，先迷后得主。利西南得朋，东北丧朋。安贞，吉。
坤卦象征地，至顺至厚，包容承载。如母马般温顺而有耐力地守正。君子有所往，争先则迷失，随顺（后）则得其主。往西南得朋有利，往东北则丧朋；安于贞正则吉。
初六 履霜，坚冰至。
六二 直、方、大，不习无不利。
六三 含章可贞，或从王事，无成有终。
六四 括囊，无咎，无誉。
六五 黄裳，元吉。
上六 龙战于野，其血玄黄。

Sublime success through yielding. The integrity of a mare is favorable. The superior person who has somewhere to go: if they take the lead, they go astray; if they follow, they find a guide. It is favorable to gain friends in the southwest; in the northeast, friends are lost. Quiet steadfastness brings good fortune.
Initial Six: Frost crunches underfoot now -- a small, early sign that solid ice is on its way.
Six in the second: Upright, well-ordered, and generous in scope -- acting from this footing, nothing needs rehearsing beforehand to turn out well.
Six in the third: Real ability kept out of view, held steady rather than shown off. Serving in someone else's cause here, take no credit yourself -- just see it through to the end.
Six in the fourth: Like a sack cinched tightly shut -- staying closed off draws neither fault nor credit either way.
Six in the fifth: Like a robe of modest yellow worn beneath -- restrained rank, not flaunted -- this brings the finest fortune.
Six at the top: Out in the open field, two dragons clash head-on -- the ground is left stained with their mingled blood.
